Black Mountain

We had a great time in Black Mountain for the Generation Link week. It's a great time with current and new Glink residents and also area directors from different partnering church locations. We enjoyed having more families with kids there this year too. Our kids had a good time with the younger kids and the professor's daughters. Thankful for the opportunity to serve and fellowship with these great people.

Mother's Day 2017

Jeremy's dad preached at our church on Mother's Day Sunday and then we had the family over for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we spent a lot of time in the yard. Thankful for time together.

Gainors

We loved getting time with the Gainors while they were stateside. We are so thankful for their friendship and how it stands the test of time! It's fun to see our kids reconnect and enjoy playing together!

Easter Saturday at Papa & Nana's House

We had a nice visit with family at Papa & Nana's house on the Saturday before Easter. The kids enjoyed dying Easter eggs and doing an Easter egg hunt.

Spring Sports

All 4 of our kids played a Spring sport this year. It was crazy town around here getting them to practices and games but also a lot of fun. Somehow I don't have any pictures of Carson (mom fail!) but he played flag football this year. Bryn played 10 & under girls softball. Lydia played 8 & under girls softball. And Spencer played coaches pitch baseball (his first team sport experience).

It was fun to see each of them improve throughout the season and make new friends.

My brother comes to town

I am so so thankful for my brother and his visit back in April. I just hate that we live so far apart. We had a great weekend together. We walked around Clemson's campus, biked the Swamp Rabbit, and enjoyed downtown Greenville.  I'll treasure this weekend forever!

March Lake Visit

We enjoyed family time at the lake towards the end of March and even got to celebrate my mom and sister's birthdays while we were there. It was a restful time!

Working at Home

After our great time in Florida (here and here) we switched gears and got after some big house projects! Our big inside project was painting most of the house (2 bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen, family, and dining room). It was a doozy of a job but we love the change!

The other big project was outside. I don't have great pictures of that project but we had a few trees taken down, dirt brought in for different areas, spread a ton of mulch, and planted some new things in new mulch beds. It was hard work but so rewarding! 

Thankful to have my parents in town during this time too. They are so helpful and easy and fun to have! It felt good to work after lots of rest and down time.
