College Leadership Retreat - Hilton Head Island

They can all roll their own suitcase!!!!  Milestone!
We are so blessed to be able to join Jeremy on a lot of his work trips.  These few days at the college leadership retreat is one of our favorites.  This year the retreat was in Hilton Head.  We arrived on Friday with the other Generation link college staff.  We headed to Harbor Town for dinner that night.  The students came in on Saturday.  The retreat is a lot of fun mixed with some meetings to celebrate, evaluate, dream, and plan regarding college ministry at Crosspoint.  They are a superb group and I look forward to more time with them this year!

2014
I have done a LOT of reflecting and reminiscing of our 2 wonderful summers in Hilton Head on Summer link (2008 & 2009).  The last time our whole family was here was the summer of 2009.  I'd say a lot has changed!  Makes me want to savor today!

We attempted to reenact this picture on the same bench from 2009 with these 3.  They were darlings to play along:)

They thought it was hysterical!

So many dolphin!  So peaceful to watch them in the ocean!
Some beach & pool pics....

So thankful for how the students love on our kids!
Carson loved catching (yes....catching!) these jellyfish in the ocean.  Thankfully no stings!

my stud!

This is a great group!  I really enjoyed getting to know them better at the retreat!  Makes me excited about the year ahead with college ministry!  We are so thankful for this group!

End of the Year Bonfire & Cookout

Every year we host an end of the year cookout & bonfire for the college students.  It's always a fun night!  Our kids look forward to this night all year!  So thankful for how these Glinkers and students love on our kids.

So glad Pastor Ken came over!
Chad & Christy did a great job getting and preparing all the food!  Chad is a great grill master!  And isn't their little boy, Grayson, such a cutie!?

Fun to see our horseshoes get used!

The bonfire consists of burning about 7 Christmas trees so the flames get huge!  Always bitter sweet to see the college students come and go!  We will miss the graduating Seniors!
