Loving this book...

We have really enjoyed using My Father's World Curriculum and we have recently started Exploring Countries and Cultures.  One of the books that comes with this is called "Kingdom Tales" and we are REALLY enjoying it!  Even though we've only ready 3 chapters, it has captivated us!

It is a classic collection of 36 tales by David and Karen Mains.  They use allegory to reveal truths about the Kingdom of God.  You can buy it from My Father's World or from Amazon here.

As soon as it's time to read this book my kids are enthralled....especially Carson.  He is begging me to keep reading!  I have been holding back the tears as I read this book.  I'm loving it!  The illustrations to our faith and God's Kingdom are amazing!  This would be a great book to have in your home library (whether or not you homeschool)....I think ALL ages would enjoy it!

So far my favorite line is, "And so the hunter (who was evil at the beginning of the chapter...) stayed because she found the orphan she had been seeking-----herself.  She discovered that the Kingdom was for outcasts, and one must become an outcast in order to follow the King."

Yes, we all must become outcasts to follow the King!

" Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it."  Matthew 10:39

I HIGHLY recommend this book!
