Great visit with Grandpa & Grammy

We had a great long weekend with my parents! I'm so thankful for them and for their effort to make the long drive to come visit! They are always so helpful when they come too. Dad is a Mr. Fix-It and we always have a list of projects for him.  He loves us so well in this way!

We went bowling on Friday and it was so fun! I'm surprised we didn't get kicked out for all the balls that went flying the wrong direction!
Mom had a new card game she taught us that was a hit!  We called it "Oh Well" (you can guess what the real name is called).

...because we got a new washer and dryer!  Wahoo!

Thank you for a wonderful visit Mom and Dad! We love you!

Happy Birthday Spencer!!!!

We had a unique weekend around here.  Our family went in 3 different directions from Friday to Saturday night. Jeremy and Lydia went to Wake Forest, NC for the Go Conference at Southeastern Seminary. Amy took Carson and Bryn skiing on Friday and they stayed the night at Papa & Nana's house Friday night.

So that left JUST SPENCER AND I FOR 2 DAYS!  It was SO FUN just having my little man for that time!  I spoiled him and tried to do all the things I can't do when I have all 4.  Because his birthday is on a Sunday we had a birthday weekend!

We headed to Anderson on Friday after Jeremy left with the other kids. We went shopping (one thing being the Darth Vader mask….he's a little obsessed with all things Star Wars), out to lunch, and to the movies! We then came home for dinner and he got to sleep in mommy's bed. On Saturday we headed to Greenville after a slow morning. Spencer spent some birthday money on a light up light saber.  Then we had a sushi lunch and headed to the Children's Museum for the afternoon. I loved getting this special time with my baby.  He was a great date!

Amy was so sweet to take Carson and Bryn skiing! They had a blast! She's such a fun aunt!

It's a tradition around here to blow up the amount of balloons as the year their turning for them to wake up to on their birthday.
After church we went out for a birthday lunch for Spencer!
Then we came home and took some pictures before having cake and presents.

Carson wanted to dress like Spencer this morning for church….so cute!

Carson and his goofy faces!

 Happy Birthday Spencie!

Thank you Father for blessing our family with Spencer 4 years ago!  Can't imagine our family without this little man!  We love you Spencer!
