Happy 9th Birthday Bryn!

Our Bryn turned 9 on December 28th! She wanted to decorate a gingerbread house and decorate her own birthday cupcakes for her birthday. So we did!

Her dad got her doughnuts for her birthday breakfast!

We drove to the lake to see my family on her birthday. We stopped on the way there to see the Star Wars movie for her birthday. All of our kids LOVE Star Wars so this was fun to do all together.

One of my favorite things about Bryn is her expressions! I love all these pictures of her as we sang Happy Birthday! You are dearly loved my daughter!

Isn't she a doll!? How have 9 years already passed since she entered our lives!?

Happy Birthday Spencer!!!!

We had a unique weekend around here.  Our family went in 3 different directions from Friday to Saturday night. Jeremy and Lydia went to Wake Forest, NC for the Go Conference at Southeastern Seminary. Amy took Carson and Bryn skiing on Friday and they stayed the night at Papa & Nana's house Friday night.

So that left JUST SPENCER AND I FOR 2 DAYS!  It was SO FUN just having my little man for that time!  I spoiled him and tried to do all the things I can't do when I have all 4.  Because his birthday is on a Sunday we had a birthday weekend!

We headed to Anderson on Friday after Jeremy left with the other kids. We went shopping (one thing being the Darth Vader mask….he's a little obsessed with all things Star Wars), out to lunch, and to the movies! We then came home for dinner and he got to sleep in mommy's bed. On Saturday we headed to Greenville after a slow morning. Spencer spent some birthday money on a light up light saber.  Then we had a sushi lunch and headed to the Children's Museum for the afternoon. I loved getting this special time with my baby.  He was a great date!

Amy was so sweet to take Carson and Bryn skiing! They had a blast! She's such a fun aunt!

It's a tradition around here to blow up the amount of balloons as the year their turning for them to wake up to on their birthday.
After church we went out for a birthday lunch for Spencer!
Then we came home and took some pictures before having cake and presents.

Carson wanted to dress like Spencer this morning for church….so cute!

Carson and his goofy faces!

 Happy Birthday Spencie!

Thank you Father for blessing our family with Spencer 4 years ago!  Can't imagine our family without this little man!  We love you Spencer!

Bryn's 8th Birthday Party

Our Bryn really wanted a birthday party with friends this year! With her birthday being 3 days after Christmas it makes it really hard to have a birthday party with friends.  But this year we were determined to make it happen!  We decided on a tea party theme and had a lot of fun planning!  It was  a lot of fun celebrating Bryn with some of her friends!
 Waiting on her friends

 We love this girl!

After the tea party we had the girls get in 2 groups and each group was given a theme and dress up clothes and they were given 15 minutes to come up with a skit to perform to the rest of the group and then we gave superlatives for their performances.  It was so fun!
 Planning their skits!
Team #1 "A Royal Event" theme

 Team #2 "Doctor/Nurse" theme

So thankful for these girls and their families!
