Jack-o-lantern

Denver Downs

Tuesday evening we went to a local farm with our small group from church. It was so cold but we had a good time with the other families. Our kids had a good time enjoying all the fun things for kids. My mom is here this week and offered to watch Lydia for us while we went with Carson & Bryn. Thank you Grammy! It was so cold I'm sure I would have ended up in the van with Lydia if she was with us.

Children's' Museum of Richmond

Today we took the kids to the Children's' Museum and they had a ball! It was fun to watch them learn and discover together and individually. I had a hard time picking my favorite pictures for this blog post so that's why there are so many:)

We took my sister's big van that she uses for her day care, affectionately known as "Old Bess", so that we could all ride together. Ethan & Lydia in the middle row (Ainsley & Bryn are in the way back)

Carson & Owen in the front row

Walking into the museum

Bryn helping Ainsley with her bottle, so sweet!

Lydia was there too:)

Bryn was fascinated with this water fountain

Lydia was giggling at the shadow exhibit, it was so funny

Ainsley loved the balls

Carson really liked playing with this car

Ethan and Bryn being "hatched"

All the cousins minus Lydia

Digging for fossils

We went to Chick-fil-A afterwards and Ainsley ate her first fruit baby food....yay Ainsley! This was a big deal as eating is still a struggle for her.

Pretty girl!

Meeting Ainsley...FINALLY!

We arrived at my sister's house yesterday evening and I could hardly contain my excitement in the car as we approached their house! I wanted the world to stop so I could just squeeze Ainsley and watch her and sit with her....etc. Of course, the world didn't stop as my arrival made 6 kids in the room:) But it was so special to finally meet her and squeeze her and kiss her cheeks....so long awaited! Here are the pictures of our first time meeting. I adore this little girl!

Not too sure about me....yet!
She cracked a smile at me!

Fun at Grampa & Grammy's House

We have enjoyed our time at Grampa & Grammy's house this week. We also got some time with GG & Raggie and Uncle Michael. The days always go by too fast here. Thank you Mom and Dad for a special visit and for loving and serving us. We love you! We leave today to go to my sister's house....and to meet Ainsley!

Grammy treated us to lunch at Red Robin...yummmm
Oh, and Bryn had major issues with her balloon:)

Bluebird Gap Farm

The kids and I made it to Virginia Tuesday evening...whew! It was a long day on the road but overall they did a pretty good job. My mom, Grammy, met us at the lake to help with the last leg of the trip...and it was a huge help!

This morning Grammy, the kids, and I went to Bluebird Gap Farm to see the animals and play on the playground. It was a fun (and free!!!) activity for the kids.

Sam's Birthday Party

Sunday was Sam Price's birthday party (one of Carson's friends from church) and he had a treasure/pirate theme party. We had a great time celebrating his 4 years of life with his family and friends!
