Black Mountain

We just returned home from 4 nights at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, NC for the Summer Link Directors Training and the Generation Link Retreat. It was a great time of fellowship and training. Matt Rogers taught the morning class on Evangelism. I am so thankful for this time to be a part of Jeremy's ministry and watch him lead. I am spurred on by the environment and conversations with others. 

The first day the kids and I went on a little hike near the house with some other moms and their little ones. It was fun to see my kids enjoy and love on the little kids.  

I'm so thankful that our kids get to grow up going on trips like this. Carson especially folds right in and enjoys hanging with the guys. Love that our kids have people like this as role models for them as they grow up. Thankful for how people interact and pursue our kids!

The group went on a hike together and played LOTS of cards! Spades seemed to be the game of the week! 

It was a great time with residents, summer link directors, and area directors being equipped and trained! Proud of my hubby and his leadership too!

A family milestone….

For years I have dreamed of the day our whole family could go walk on the beach together without wearing a baby, holding a baby, or pushing a baby in a stroller…….

 drum roll please…..

 We finally did it! We went on a long family walk on the beach!!! 

 As much as I loved the baby/toddler stage and all the joys and blessings in that season, I'm really thankful to be entering this new season as a family. I look forward to all the things we can do!

 So….there were a few times we still carried our little buddy….almost there! But I'm still chalking this up to a big family milestone! 

Family Vacation

We are so thankful for the opportunity we had to go to Panama City Beach for a few days! It was so beautiful and we so enjoyed a trip just the six of us! I was born in Panama City and also lived in Pensacola so it was fun to be back to the Gulf Coast. We had a great time spending full days on the beach, at the pool, and eating seafood! So thankful!

Thankful for my in-laws!

So thankful for Papa and Nana while the girls and I were out of town. They had the boys most of the time that we were away. Part of that time they went to Dollywood and had a ball! Thank you Papa & Nana for loving on my boys while we were away!

Grammy and Her Girls go to Disney!!!

The girls and I are so thankful that we were able to go to Disney for a week with my mom, sister, and niece! Grammy took her daughters and granddaughters on a girls trip to Disney and we hit it hard and had so much fun! Thank you mom and dad for a wonderful week that we will be talking about for years to come!
