We celebrated Carson's 12th birthday on Monday with a gathering of friends for some pizza, football, cookie cake & ice-cream. I love the simplicity of boys and watching them have fun together! Carson is blessed with some good buds! We really loved having our nephew Kolson here to celebrate with Carson!

Diamond Day
Today was Diamond Day and both Carson and Bryn had scrimmages so Jeremy and I had to divide and conquer. Jeremy took Lydia and Carson to his game and I took Spencer and Bryn to her game. Papa and Nana also made it down to watch their games. It was a fun day on the ball field!
Because I was with Bryn I have more pictures of her game. So proud of her! Look how cute!
She LOVES playing catcher! She's pretty good at it too!
Seriously, why is this so cute to me!?
We met back over at Nettles for their team pictures. Here is Carson with some of his teammates.

Carson's Birthday Party
Carson REALLY wanted to have a football party in the backyard to celebrate his birthday. Thankfully we were able to make that happen on Friday afternoon after apple picking. We are so thankful for these boys and the families they represent! They are gifts from the Lord! Check out these fun pictures of them playing football. I know they'd be mortified but....they are SO cute:)
Clark about to catch a pass....this is serious y'all!
All smiles from Titus while Clark chews his shirt (what is it about boys this age chewing their shirts?!.....they're like teething puppies!)
This boy had to join the party after his nap.
Stu being a tough guy
Sam
They stopped football long enough to sing happy birthday and eat some cake & ice cream.
Carter about to score (I think)....did I mention they love the drama of the game?
A little celebration from Carson:)
strategizing?
It's intense!
Carson's hand-picked publix birthday cake (I'm not a baking kind of a mom!....and I'm ok with that)
So thankful for Jeremy being the referee and quarterback!
They LOVED drinking root beer and orange soda! Jeremy taught them "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow..."
There was a man down about every 5 minutes....thankfully nothing serious!
So very thankful for these friends! Thank you boys for helping to celebrate Carson on his birthday!

Carson
How can it be possible that I have a 10 year old today? I'm feeling quite meloncholy about this. Where have the years gone!? I've done some reflecting on the life of this 10 year old boy the last couple of days and pulled some of my favorite pictures of my firstborn. He is a sweet sweet blessing and gift from the Lord! He made me a mom and I couldn't have asked for a better first baby!
That serious face was from the beginning....1 week old!
And that happy disposition
We used to be a family of 3! He used to get all my attention!
He's always adored his daddy!
Those cowlicks that I affectionately call "his wings." I tell him often that he has perfect buzz hair!
5 years old (one of my favorites!)
How I pray he will grow to love God's Word!!!!
Stud
So thankful for his easy going personality!
Ah yes, the day we completed the yellow book! Love that he is a quick learner!
He used to suck his thumb.
He loves all things outdoors!
When the teeth started coming out.
First solo kayak ride
He still stands like this. And has that serious face.
I blinked too many times and that little boy turned into this!
I love being his mom! I can't imagine life without him! Thank you for this gift, Lord Jesus!
