Diamond Day

Today was Diamond Day and both Carson and Bryn had scrimmages so Jeremy and I had to divide and conquer. Jeremy took Lydia and Carson to his game and I took Spencer and Bryn to her game. Papa and Nana also made it down to watch their games. It was a fun day on the ball field!

Because I was with Bryn I have more pictures of her game. So proud of her! Look how cute!
She LOVES playing catcher! She's pretty good at it too!

Seriously, why is this so cute to me!?

We met back over at Nettles for their team pictures. Here is Carson with some of his teammates.

Wednesday at the Gardens

This past Wednesday was so beautiful so I decided to take the kids to the Botanical Gardens! We packed our school and lunch and found this beautiful spot to do school…..
It was so nice to have a change of pace and be outside!
After we finished school and ate lunch we meandered around the gardens.

I'm so thankful for this beautiful place right down the road!

Carson spotted this big black snake on our walk!!!

Baseball

We are in the throws of baseball season for Carson & Bryn.  Bryn is playing for the first time on a coaches pitch team.  She is the only girl which doesn't seem to phase her.  She is happy go lucky and seems to be having fun.  She is working on keeping her eyes on the ball when hitting but when she does, the girl can hit!
Carson is playing on a kid pitch team for the first time.  This was a BIG jump from the coaches pitch teams he has played on the last couple years.  He is improving leaps and bounds each week!  We are proud of him for working so hard and having fun on the team!

Baseball

Samuel Reeves
Carson just finished up coach's pitch baseball.  It was a great season with a team full of some of his best buds!  Jason Finley was the coach and Andrew Akers was the assistant couch.  They did a great job coaching the team!  We enjoyed the time on the ball field with friends and cheering on our kiddos.  Here are some pictures from the season....and a team picture at the end.

Zoo Day

Lately in our school time we've been learning about rain forests so I promised the kids a zoo trip to go look at some of the animals from the rain forest.  We were just waiting for a free and warm day and Monday morning was our day!  I invited Krystal & Jen along to get some time with them too.  They were such great helpers and the kids love them!  Spencer was especially fun to take at this age.  He was amazed at each new animal he saw....marveling at God's creation!  So fun!  It was a fun and beautiful morning!
they are so fun!
Spencer pointed at everything!
