Father's Day 2014

We had a nice Father's Day celebrating Jeremy on Sunday!  We brought our nephew Kolson home with us from Table Rock for 2 nights.  It was fun having him!  He and Carson are 3 months apart and enjoyed time together fishing and shooting BB guns.  Jeremy had the idea to go blackberry picking in the afternoon. We had fun going to different spots looking for blackberries.  We picked just enough to make a blackberry cobbler for dessert after dinner.

So thankful for this man!  He is a good Dad!

Table Rock

This past Saturday we headed to Table Rock to celebrate Nana's birthday.  Jeremy, Carson, Bryn, Lydia, and I did the big Table Rock hike!  I'm still hurting because of it!  I was SO proud of the kids for doing the hike!  Thankfully, Papa & Nana played with Spencer while we hiked (he would have struggled to say the least!).  It was the perfect day for this hike.  I enjoyed snapping pictures as we went along.  After the hike we swam for a while and then grilled out & celebrated Nana's birthday.  It was a great day!
just starting out

This girl wasn't so happy the first 20 minutes but she improved:)

 We made it!!!!

 Headed back down

Daddy was kind to give her a shoulder ride for few minutes on the way down.

Certificates for making it to the top!

How many people does it take to light 68 candles???

Happy Birthday Nana!

On our way out we swung by the Table Rock Wesleyan Camp to see the spot where Jeremy and I first met.  It was back in 1996 at the Fall Retreat with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru).  I was a freshman at Clemson and he was the new staff guy.  I was swinging and he struck up conversation;)  Fun to go back and see the spot after 18 years!
