Amy and Wes are Hitched!

On August 5th Amy and Wes got married on Wes's family land. It was a sweet celebration! They had all their nieces and nephews in the wedding (lots of 'em huh!). We are so happy for them and loved being able to celebrate their wedding day!

Lydia's 9th Birthday

Our Lydia turned 9 on August 3rd! What a gift she is to our family. She is sweet and sensitive and fun and easy going! We are praying that she would continue to grow in her knowledge and love for Jesus and that she would follow Him all the days of her life. We love you sweet girl!

The Great Outdoors in the Upstate

We've enjoyed our area this summer! We love exploring waterfalls and rivers and bringing our fishing rods and tubes.  Here are some pictures of our adventures this summer. 

Chasteen Beach Vacation 2017

We had a great time in North Myrtle Beach this summer with the Chasteens and Elliotts. Thankful for time with family and fun beach time. 

Lake Time - Summer 2017

We had fun summer days at the Smith Family Cottage on Lake Gaston this summer. So thankful for this place and time with family playing on the lake. Thank you mom and dad for all the memories and your generosity and hospitality to our family!

Friends Reunion 2017 - Lake Gaston

What a joy it is to gather with these old friends each year for our Friends Reunion! Hard to believe some of these friendships go back 20 years! We had a great time at my parents' lake house on Lake Gaston back in June. It was refreshing to connect and laugh and play! I am so thankful for these friends!

Black Mountain

We had a great time in Black Mountain for the Generation Link week. It's a great time with current and new Glink residents and also area directors from different partnering church locations. We enjoyed having more families with kids there this year too. Our kids had a good time with the younger kids and the professor's daughters. Thankful for the opportunity to serve and fellowship with these great people.

Mother's Day 2017

Jeremy's dad preached at our church on Mother's Day Sunday and then we had the family over for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we spent a lot of time in the yard. Thankful for time together.

Gainors

We loved getting time with the Gainors while they were stateside. We are so thankful for their friendship and how it stands the test of time! It's fun to see our kids reconnect and enjoy playing together!

Easter Saturday at Papa & Nana's House

We had a nice visit with family at Papa & Nana's house on the Saturday before Easter. The kids enjoyed dying Easter eggs and doing an Easter egg hunt.
