Baseball

We are in the throws of baseball season for Carson & Bryn.  Bryn is playing for the first time on a coaches pitch team.  She is the only girl which doesn't seem to phase her.  She is happy go lucky and seems to be having fun.  She is working on keeping her eyes on the ball when hitting but when she does, the girl can hit!
Carson is playing on a kid pitch team for the first time.  This was a BIG jump from the coaches pitch teams he has played on the last couple years.  He is improving leaps and bounds each week!  We are proud of him for working so hard and having fun on the team!

Devils Fork State Park

Saturday was a beautiful day and we didn't have anything on the calendar so we decided to head out for a hiking adventure.  We really want to explore our area more now that our kids are getting a little older.  We decided to check out Devils Fork State Park and do the Bear Cove Trail.  We brought a picnic lunch and then did the trail and stopped to swim along the way.  It was beautiful!  Lake Jocassee is a beautiful mountain lake!

I love this crew & spending time together!

End of the Year Bonfire & Cookout

Every year we host an end of the year cookout & bonfire for the college students.  It's always a fun night!  Our kids look forward to this night all year!  So thankful for how these Glinkers and students love on our kids.

So glad Pastor Ken came over!
Chad & Christy did a great job getting and preparing all the food!  Chad is a great grill master!  And isn't their little boy, Grayson, such a cutie!?

Fun to see our horseshoes get used!

The bonfire consists of burning about 7 Christmas trees so the flames get huge!  Always bitter sweet to see the college students come and go!  We will miss the graduating Seniors!

A Beautiful Day

After a rainy Saturday we really enjoyed getting outside for a hike on Monday!
I also enjoyed snapping shots as we hiked!  These are some of my favorites!
