Carson just finished up coach's pitch baseball.  It was a great season with a team full of some of his best buds!  Jason Finley was the coach and Andrew Akers was the assistant couch.  They did a great job coaching the team!  We enjoyed the time on the ball field with friends and cheering on our kiddos.  Here are some pictures from the season....and a team picture at the end.

Mother's Day

I am so blessed!  What a legacy of good mothers I come from!  Such a gift of God's grace to bless me with my Mom who truly is one of my best friends!  I'm also blessed to be a mom!  So thankful for this calling from God's to pour myself out as I serve, love, train, and enjoy these 4 blessings!  

After church on Mother's Day we decided to head to the Clemson baseball game.  We brought a picnic lunch and then headed to the game.  It was a beautiful day and we had a good time!

We grilled chicken that night and enjoyed a yummy dinner on the patio.

Our Beloved Playground

 Jeremy and I were talking recently as we watched our 4 kids play on the playground.  We wondered if right now is the climax of how much our kids will use this playground.  We get so much joy watching all 4 of our kids enjoy playing on it!  We (and our generous family) have certainly gotten our moneys worth!  They are really into the monkey bars right now.  And Spencer loves doing the glider swing!  What a blessing!  Sad to think there will be a day when they will outgrow this.  Oh how I want to savor today!  Sweet childhood memories are being made right here everyday!  Thank you Jesus!

College Leadership Retreat

 Last week we joined Jeremy in Lake Toxaway, NC for the annual college leadership retreat.  This is always a fun time to get to know the newer college leaders.  This is a great group of students and leaders!  During the days together on this retreat Jeremy leads them through a time of celebration and dreaming and then formulating a plan for the first couple weeks back in the Fall.  They are then put on various focused leadership teams (outreach, socials...etc.) for the upcoming year.  I'm excited to hear how God will use these students this next school year!  They are a great group!

 Up until the last day it was very rainy....which meant LOTS of game playing!  The girls were thankful for anyone to play "spot it" with them.

 Logan was so sweet with the kids. So thankful for him and others like him who take an interest in our kids and love on them so well.  Blessed to have role models like this for our kids.

 The last day we went on a hike to this beautiful waterfall.  It was so good to get outside after rainy days!
