Bryn's First Birthday!

Last Friday, December 28th we celebrated Bryn's first birthday with some family and friends. I'm especially thankful to my parents and brother for being here for that special day! It's not easy for them to get down here (8 hour drive) and so every trip means a lot! Bryn thoroughly enjoyed her cake as you will see in the pictures. Thank you to everyone who came and helped us celebrate our precious gift from God. We love you Bryn Elizabeth! OH, and she took her first real steps on the 27th....about 6 steps!

Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas everybody! Tonight we had the Finleys over and shared a meal together, exchanged gifts, watched (well...sort of) the Charlie Brown Christmas Story, and did the Christmas story on the felt board for the kids. It was crazy fun as always. I think just about every kid was in tears at some point during the night. We are so thankful to have such close friends that live in the same town that we can share life with. We love you guys! Well, it's time to turn it in because tomorrow is a BIG day! We are so thankful to God this Christmas as we reflect on His gift of His Son. It's a sobering thought to think about what life would be if God didn't choose to send His Son to be born in that stable on that starry night! Glory to God that He did indeed send Him....to seek and save the lost!! Have a blessed Christmas!
